HEDRICH vacuum systems participated in this year’s Power Systems Conference and Exhibition (PSCE) in Seattle / Washington State, USA, from March 15 to 18, 2009. The conference was hosted by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), energy systems division, focusing on the subject power generation. The conference was attended by energy system designers, engineers and operators as well as representatives of the energy policy and scientists. HEDRICH used the environment of the conference to present its wide range of products and services for high- and medium voltage applications.

 

The IEEE is a leading association of electrical and engineering specialists and experts worldwide, more than 360.000 members in 176 countries are dealing with standardizations in the field of electronic and information technology.

 

Every year, the IEEE hosts a variety of events worldwide. HEDRICH plans to participate in next year’s IEEE Power Systems Conference which is one of the biggest events of its kind in North America. The subject will be energy transmission and distribution. The IEEE PES will be held in New Orleans from April 20 to 22, 2010.
