Ehringshausen, February 16, 2009 --- Again this year the international electrical industry met at the Middle East Electricity (MEE) 2009 in Dubai from February 8 to 10. Hedrich vacuum systems used this ideal environment to present his subsidiary Hedrich winding systems, a supplier of fully and semi-automated production systems for instrument transformers. Used in the production of coils for high and medium voltage applications, Hedrich winding machines reduce production times and at the same time increase the production quality – providing lasting competitive advantages for the user.
By focusing on a special subject – innovative fully automated winding machines – the
Ehringshausen-based company attracted many visitors. They also used the opportunity to get some information about the Hedrich product portfolio of vacuum-based production equipment in the fields of cast resin and oil-paper insulation. Satisfied with the MEE as ideal product platform, Hedrich now starts the follow-up business. The management expects to receive numerous orders and is already looking forward to the MEE 2010, where Hedrich will be represented again.
Ralf Hedrich, General Manager, Hedrich vacuum systems, gave a positive summary after three days: “We were extremely satisfied with our presence at the MEE 2009. We had lots of visitors from our existing clientele but also new potential customers. Hence the exhibition is very important for us to offer a meeting place as well as to maintain the relationship to our customers.”
„Regardless of the worldwide financial crisis, we had again very good contacts this year. A remarkably large number of visitors came from Iran and Pakistan, whereas visitors from India were less strongly represented than during the past years“ adds Holger Zimmermann, Deputy Sales & Technical Manager, Hedrich vacuum systems. „Mainly design engineers, developers and executives came to our booth with concrete inquiries seeking appropriate solutions. More than 95 percent of the discussions were about concrete applications. The quality of the visitors was really excellent.“
Also Karsten Adam, General Manager, Hedrich winding systems, was impressed by the MEE and the quality of the trade visitors: „The interest of the visitors at our booth shows that the suppliers of the electrical industry are aware of the clear cost and quality advantages of our integrated machine concepts and mature products. Quite a number of customers approached us with the concrete objective to discuss investments in new machinery or the possibilities of optimizing existing equipment“.
