The increasing energy demand requires bigger and more effective wind power systems in the near future. HEDRICH is setting new standards with cast resin technology for huge rotor blades and on- and off shore generators. Over 2500 references, more than 30 active patents and about 50 years of expertise in preparation, dosage and impregnation with epoxy resins proof the competence in the field of medium and high voltage applications. Through intensive cooperation with resin producers, universities and institutes, we offer not only efficient best practice solutions but excellent consulting. Finally we design together with our customers new and complex systems for the demands of tomorrow.
Systems for rotor blades
The preparation of epoxy resin, "on the fly" degassing and a novel filling method under vacuum significantly improve the quality of the wind blades and their surfaces. Thus better stability, durability, less maintenance and cost reduction is achievable. Especially large wind turbines up to 10 MW and offshore plants require high quality and the best manufacturing standards available.
Encapsulation of stators and rotors
Hedrich cast resin systems distribute very well the heat and increase therefore the life time of generators and electrical parts. With the same performance, the size of the machines can be reduced significantly as well as the costs in production. And of course the proper encapsulation secures an optimal long-term protection against any corrosion.
