Girls´Day at HEDRICH in Katzenfurt

It was on April 27, 2017 – this year’s Girls'Day – when Hedrich GmbH opened doors for three seventh-year female pupils.
Girls'Day – the Day of the Future for Girls is the largest project for job orientation for female pupils in the world. The young women were given the opportunity to have a look at skilled occupations and study programs in IT, crafts, science and technics that women hitherto are rather rare in.
Young women in Germany leave school with particularly good education. Nevertheless, more than one half of the girls make their choice out of just ten different training professions in the dual system – with none single scientific-technical job being amongst them. Eventually, they do not properly exploit their professional potentials and the companies on the other hand are lacking properly qualified junior staff, especially in terms of technical and technology-related fields. The Girls'Day therefore provides chances to all for the future!
Melina Bieber, Yasmin Land and Selma Jung vigorously supported our quality assurance, instructed by our staff member Oliver Leib. They gained insight into the various activities and challenges of our quality assurance team.
Finally, all three pupils were handed over certificates of participation as well as a Hedrich bag, filled with some surprise presents.
