Wind energy VPI major projekt started up in Russia

It was approx. 2 weeks ago that a large VPI project was successfully started up at one of our Russian customer’s, equally one of the biggest manufacturers of wind enery plants in Russia. The vessels with bayonet quick-acting closure having a diameter of 6.3m are used to impregnate ring generators for gearless wind energy plants of the latest generation.

A new mechanical system in the oven lid prevents contamination by dripping impregnating agent when the lid is opened.

 

The vacuum pressure impregnating equipment was taken into operation after an availiability check of more than 100% and will produce in two shifts at 365 days/year.

Since its commissioning, a total of 9 wind energy plants could be equipped with generators from this equipment already.
